Making Christmas Real

Compassion. Opportunity. Next step. Next person.

Hang around Epikos Church for a while, and these are some of the words you’ll hear over popcorn, in the sermon, in a life group, or on the football field.

God had a big smile on His face when He prompted a few people to start this church. We are still pretty new, but we’re proud of our all-out commitment to help hundreds of people find friends, hope, meaning, and eternity with God.

As we prepare to wrap up another incredible year, we want to give you a chance to help Epikos make an even bigger impact. On December 18 and 24, we will receive a special Christmas offering during the weekend experience. Please consider prayerfully giving over and above your regular tithe and offering. Not only will this enable us to end the year in a strong financial position, but, more importantly, it positions us to take some exciting steps of faith in the year ahead.

Please know that your gift will make a huge difference in the following ways:

The Next Person – Every gift of $150 allows us to send postcards to 1,000 more homes in our community.

JoyStory – Your gift assists with staffing, curriculum, and other resources for our children’s ministry and helps us expand to serve all ages.

Youth Ministry – You can help with youth events, service projects, and even our next generation leader’s salary.

Building Fund – We all will be excited when we can worship in our own facility someday. Your gift moves us closer to that dream.

Mission Trip – $800 will send one Epikos youth to the San Carlos Apache Reservation (Arizona) to help build a home for a family in need.

Will you help Epikos move strongly ahead into 2011? You can give online (www.epikoschurch.com/give), in person during the weekend experience, or you can mail your gift to Post Office Box 873520, Vancouver, WA 98687. All donations received by the end of the year are tax-deductible on this year’s giving record.

Please accept our sincere thank you for all you do. We truly love and appreciate every Epikosian, and we can hardly wait to see how God leads next!

Sincerely,

Ron Gladden
Directional Leader

P.S. Thanks for making Christmas real during this season of giving!
